OUR POTTERY

What is your pottery made from?

We use a warm brown peppered stoneware clay body and lead free glazes. Stoneware is a type of non-porous ceramic dinnerware made from stoneware clay that has been fired at a temperature between 2150 and 2330 degrees Fahrenheit.

Are these hand wash only?

All our ceramics are microwave and dishwasher safe. High five!

My mug looks a little different than the one in the product photo, why?

We strive for consistency and have high quality standards. That being said, our work is wheel thrown and glazed by hand, which means each piece is unique and will have slight variations. These are imperfect vessels, sort of like the humans that made them. We think the variations add to the specialness of buying handmade, but we also know we’re pretty biased. If you are unhappy with your order and would like to exchange or return your item, please read the Returns and Refunds policy and email info@simplewares.com.  

 

YOUR ORDER


Can I change or cancel my order? 

If you have not yet received shipping confirmation, then you can email info@simplewares.com to begin the process of cancelling or changing your order. If your order has already been shipped, you will need to follow the steps in our Returns and Refund policy outlined below after receiving your order.

How long before my order will ship?

We do our best to maintain an accurate inventory. Your order will be shipped within two business days of placement at the shipping rate you selected upon checkout. 

If you’ve purchased items as a gift for an event and are concerned they may not arrive in time after your order is placed, please email info@simplewares.com to see if shipping rates need to be adjusted.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we are only able to ship to US and Canada.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, tracking information will be emailed to you. If you have questions about shipping or need to change/correct addresses once your order has been shipped, you will need to contact the carrier to try to make this adjustment.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Can I make a return or exchange?

Online shopping can be hard. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your selection. If you aren’t, please email info@simplewares.com and we will do our best to help. If you wish to make a return or exchange, please email us at info@simplewares.com within 30 days of your purchase in order to start the process. Unless your product is defective, you will be responsible for shipping costs. Please note that should you choose to return pottery the responsibility for getting the product back to us safely falls on you. We are unable to refund items that are returned to us broken. Refunds are issued only after we receive pottery intact. The cost of shipping is non-refundable.

My order arrived broken, what do I do?

Shipping pottery is hard, and we’re incredibly bummed if an order arrives broken. If this happens to you, please send photos of the broken item(s) to info@simplewares.com. We will ship a replacement to you as soon as possible!

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

We’re flattered that you’re interested in selling our product, however, we do not offer wholesale prices for retailers.

Do you offer bulk pricing?

WE VALUE YOUR PRIVACY

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We do share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

To make a purchase from us, you must provide contact information (such as your name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you.

If you have opted to receive email updates we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about sales, new products, or changes to this privacy policy.

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. To do this, simply click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of every email. You can also unsubscribe by sending us a note at info@simplewares.com.

To improve our website features and general functionality we have partnered with a number of third-party applications.
